Manuscript Submissions

Thank you for your interest in Apple Books. We are always on the lookout for an interesting manuscript and would be happy to go through yours.

Do send in your proposal in hard copy through regular post/courier. We unfortunately do not evaluate proposals received via email. Please do not send material in CDs. It is important you retain a copy of the proposal you send as we do not return any material submitted to us.

The fine print . . .
Offering to read your manuscript is not a commitment to publish. Ours is an independent publishing house doing limited titles in a year, with the accent on quality. We can't always publish all that we'd like to. So please don't be too disappointed if our response is a 'no'. We value all submissions, appreciate the effort involved in writing and give every manuscript our full consideration before coming to a decision. It would take our editorial team a while to go through your submission and it could be up to two months before you hear from us - but be assured that you will hear.

Terms and conditions pertaining to royalties, territories, number of copies, distribution network—these are all decisions which are taken only on final acceptance of a book for publication. Should your manuscript be accepted, these will be automatically discussed at that time. Queries pertaining to these at the time of submitting your proposal or during the evaluation process are premature.
